LOEWE has revealed its new Fall/Winter 2023 men’s campaign starring the Japanese artist, Kenshi Yonezu.
Shot by the French photographer Arnaud Lajuenie, the new campaign offers a look into Yonezu’s creative space – revealing some of the comic books, novels and other memorable pieces that influenced both his childhood and creativity. But alongside taking a look at the Japanese artist, the campaign of course highlights select pieces from LOEWE’s FW23 collection.
Some of the featured ready-to-wear pieces are the twisted soft nappa lambskin coat, a studded shirt, eye-catching pixelated jeans, a denim jacket, a workwear nappa lambskin jacket a relaxed green cardigan. On the accessories front, the campaign showcases the new Puzzle Fold tote, a Puzzle bag in a vivid red mushroom pattern, a Cubi Crossbody bag, lace-up derby shoes and black calfskin Campo lace-ups.
“It’s an honor to collaborate with Kenshi Yonezu, one of the most influential music artists in Asia,” said creative director, Jonathan Anderson. “I often explore themes of male sensibility in the collection, and I think the ambiguous, introspective energy of Kenshi’s music naturally resonates with this aspect of LOEWE menswear. With LOEWE celebrating 50 years in Japan, the timing is also perfect. We look forward to continuing this kind of meaningful cultural dialogue.”
Alongside the imagery of Kenshi Yonezu, LOEWE is set to bring the campaign to life through a series of pop-in spaces at LOEWE Omotesando and CASA LOEWE Tokyo from August 16-23. Take a look at the new campaign in the gallery above.
