Jordan Brand will be dropping a Jordan Flight Club 91 in a “Lakers” colorway, paying homage to the 1991 NBA finals when the Chicago Bulls defeated the LA Lakers — giving Michael Jordan his first championship ring.
Dressed in a crisp white upper with a blend of genuine and synthetic leather, this “Lakers” iteration sports “Court Purple” on the tongue tag, insoles and bottom eyelets. “University Gold” gives way to the tongue tag in form of the Jumpman logo, as well as the collar, pull tab and the embroidery at the heel. Sandwiched between a translucent outsole featuring visible Air cushioning, the midsole is detailed with purple.
Priced at $130 USD, the Jordan Flight Club 91 “Lakers” is slated to drop in the coming weeks at Nike.
