Following a string of releases of Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum‘s PE sneakers including the Air Jordan 37, Air Jordan 36 and Air Jordan 14, it appears that Jordan Brand is set to drop the guard’s signature shoe in 2023.
According to Nicholas Vlahos of Sole Retriever, Jordan has been amping up Tatum related silhouettes to gear up for his signature release. His very own Jordan model is slated to be called Jordan Tatum 1, though the name could be subject to change. While official images for the signature shoes have not yet been released, the Jordan Tatum 1s are expected to drop in three colorways, inspired by his son Deuce and some of his favorite memories.
As a tribute to Deuce, the “Zoo” colorway is set to arrive in Black/Metallic Gold-University Red-Beach.” The “St. Louis” colorway, which is an ode to his birth city , is dressed in the Cardinals-inspired colorway inWhite/University Red-University Blue-University Gold and “Pink Lemonade” will be styled after one of his favorite drinks in Pink Tint/Barely Volt-Lava Glow-Aurora Green. Sole Retriever reports that “St. Louis” will be the first of the Jordan Tatum 1 to arrive next year on April 18, 2023, with “Pink Lemonade” following suit on June 20, 2023 and “Zoo” arriving on July 4, 2023. These dates are subject to change.
Tatum’s partnership with Jordan Brand began in 2019 when he signed a multi-year deal for PE colorways. He joins the ranks of Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, Luka Doncic, Zion Williamson and Russell Westbrook as current NBA players with a signature Jordan Brand sneaker.
In other footwear news, Nike is reportedly giving Ja Morant a signature shoe in 2023.
