Hugh Jackman divorce from Deborra-Lee Furness shocked fans, with new pictures emerging of her visiting the Deadpool 3 set just weeks before.

Earlier this month the Wolverine star and his wife of 27 years announced they would be separating to ‘pursue our individual growth.’

Before this shock announcement, Deborra, 67, flew out to see Hugh, 54, as he filmed the highly-anticipated Deadpool 3 in England.

The Australian actress spent time with her ex-husband and his friend Ryan Reynolds as the pair shot the upcoming Marvel movie.

Hugh was in the iconic yellow Wolverine suit as his then-wife strolled around set looking cool in an oversized black top and shorts with a bright orange cardigan for a pop of colour.

Everyone had their sunglasses on, including an in-costume Ryan, while the Greatest Showman star kept shady in the July heat with a huge umbrella.

Despite their imminent divorce, Deborra and Hugh appeared to be spending time together and chatting to Ryan.

The X-Men have been friends for years, with Ryan’s debut as Wade Wilson taking place in Hugh’s solo film X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

Speculation around the plot and potential cast members for the first Deadpool film officially in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has continued even though the actors strike paused filming.

Fans have suggested everyone from Daniel Radcliffe to Taylor Swift will be appearing in the film, although neither are confirmed.

Hugh and Ryan made a fun video teasing the return of Wolverine after the Les Miserables actor said he would not be donning the adamantium claws again.

First pictures of both actors in their costumes ramped up excitement as Jennifer Garner was confirmed to return as Elektra.

While Hugh has been exploring the forest and sharing beaming selfies since the split, Deborra was accidentally called by an Australian radio show.

The actress picked up the cold call from DJs Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O Henderson while they were live on air.

Kyle could be heard exclaiming: ‘We have actually called you by mistake, it’s ridiculous. Seriously, this isn’t a stitch-up.’

Apologetically, he continued: ‘We didn’t mean to actually call you. But now you’re here, we won’t go into it. We love you, we hope you’re well.’

Deborra replied, after learning of their mistake: ‘Thank you guys, I really appreciate it. You’re really sweet.’

They wished her well and she thanked them again before hanging up on the bizarre interview.

Hugh and Deborra wed in 1996, a year after meeting on the set of Australian TV show Correlli.

Together they adopted two children; Oscar, 23, and Ava, 18.
