Equestrian references frequently appear in Alessandro Michele‘s work at Gucci (as well as throughout the house’s history, as Guccio Gucci developed the Web stripe and Horsebit hardware for accessories decades ago), but nothing says horse riding quite like its latest duo of hats.
Presenting a visor with a harness and a helmet, these horse riding essentials have been elevated with a quintessential Gucci flair for something that looks just as daring on the runway as it would if one wore them in public.
The visor is made from black leather and features a standout horsehair main piece decorating the top, while an adjustable strap secures underneath the neck. This piece goes without branding or any kind of Gucci signature motif, because quite simply, the visor harness does all the talking itself.
For something less out-there, Gucci also offers a helmet. Made from black velvet with a black leather chin strap, this piece incorporates a grosgrain bow on the back, a satin red viscose and silk lining, and branded buckles.
Strap into these Gucci pieces for roughly $2,900 USD and $1,750 USD respectively. Both can be bought from Gucci’s website now.
