The “Godfather of Streetwear,” Hiroshi Fujiwara, has teamed up with the Italian automotive company Maserati once more — this time around delivering a capsule collection that has just dropped at HBX.

Following on from his take on the Maserati Ghibli Hybrid — which saw the Japanese designer produce a black Ghibli “Operanera” and white Ghibli “Operabianca” under the marque’s exclusive “Fuoriserie” customization program back in July — the two now offer up a limited-edition range of garments and accessories fit for any automotive fan who’s got a taste for high-end fashion.

Previously speaking with HYPEBEAST, Fujiwara said, “Maserati still has an underground feel in a good way. It’s not a ‘major, major’ brand like Toyota or Benz but it also doesn’t have the ultra-luxury, flashy feel like Ferrari. It’s a great position to be in.” The same can be said for this collaboration: it’s luxurious, but not flashy. Understated, while making sure to stand out in a world of simple black and white clothes.

Two styles of hoodies, oversized T-shirts and a baseball cap emblazoned with the signifiers of these two brands make up the capsule. For one white tee, you’ll find the “fragment Meets Maserati” dual branding alongside a graphic of the distinctive radiator grille that adorns all of its cars, wearing the Trident logo with pride in the middle. Another tee opts for dual branding and fragment design’s signature lightning bolt logo, while more of this can be found throughout the entire capsule.

“fragment Meets Maserati” has dropped online at HBX and is available in limited quantities. The collaboration is also available on Maserati’s website.
