One year ago, Maximilian Davis made his debut at the helm of Ferragamo; today, his design codes are identifiably pointed at the now-revamped Italian fashion house. After coining brand signatures, including the logo-clad Fixed Jacquard Fabric Belt and the red-black Chunky Loafers, Davis has just entered the watch space with his first timepiece for Ferragamo, titled the Curve.
“I am excited to launch my first watch,” said Davis. “The Curve reflects the design and sensual style infused in my collections. I wanted it to feel playful, but also desirable as an object.”
Taking cues from his Fall/Winter 2023 garments, the unisex time-teller resides inside a 23 x 46 mm oval-shaped case featuring an “F”-embossed crown. Employing two-hand movement, the Swiss-made design houses a name-branded sunray dial without visible numbers.
The watch sits snugly on a double-tour calf leather strap, available in red or black, with an Ardillon Ferragamo buckle. The dial, meanwhile, is available in a number of chromatic combinations, including silver, yellow gold and black.
Ferragamo’s Curve timepiece is now available to shop on the brand’s webstore for $1,195 USD. Take a closer look at the design in the gallery above.
Elsewhere in the watch space, Rolex prices continue to decline on the secondary market.
