American Horror Story concluded the bonkers adventure that was its ninth installment in November 2019, and we’re more than ready for what’s in store for season 10. Since the anthology series was renewed for season 10 back in 2018, we didn’t have to worry about whether it was coming back, either. And, thanks to a recent reveal by Ryan Murphy, we now know a little more about what to expect in next season’s American Horror Story: Double Feature!

On March 20, Murphy revealed the title for season 10, explaining that Double Feature will differ from previous chapters by telling two mini-stories. “Two horrifying stories, one season,” he wrote. “One by the sea, and one by the sand.” Fans have already been tossing around the idea of season 10 featuring aquatic creatures thanks to several previous reveals by the creator, including promotional art, photos of a beach, a mouthful of razor-sharp teeth, and what looks like vampires roaming a dark street. The season’s official poster, which Murphy debuted on his social accounts on Nov. 11, alluded to a story highlighting mermaids, sirens, or sharks making their way topside. Now that we know the season will go from sea to sand, we’re guessing that they’ll feature two different creatures, like sirens and vampires.

Way back before anything had been revealed, the only thing the Pose producer revealed about the upcoming season is that it would be an epic cast reunion. When the full cast was officially announced, it was done with a video featuring footage of a dismal beach with Orville Peck’s “Dead of Night” playing in the background.
