A group of emerging and established artists are selling photographic prints to provide relief aid for Palestine. The initiative was launched earlier this week in response to the growing humanitarian crisis happening in Gaza, as a result of the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas.
150 artists have tapped into their archives to sell prints at £100 GBP / $125 USD each with full proceeds benefitting Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP). Established in 1982, MAP is a London-based non-profit organization that has provided women’s and child health services, mental health, disability and psychosocial support, as well as advocacy programs and medical relief for Palestinians during the ongoing crisis.
Artists participating within the sale include Cindy Sherman, Alice Neale, Fumi Nagasaka, Ari Marcopoulos, Mark Power, Madeleine Pledge and Janette Beckman, amongst many others. Each artwork is sized at 8 x 11 inches and printed on 310gsm Giclee Canson Baryta paper with a variable white border. The prints will come unsigned and are available only during the fundraising period.
