Central Saint Martins graduate Edward Cuming is an ideal reflection of London’s unstoppable creative talent, pushing out the next generation of British designers. Cuming continues to prove his abilities through his Spring/Summer 2024 collection, telling a romantic story about everyday risk-takers.

Edward Cuming’s SS24 offering is shot inside an abandoned home, following a young couple filling their residence with new experiences. The photographs detail life’s transformative moments that come and go in seconds. The collection highlights common imperfections, asking wearers to embrace their flaws through vibrant attire.

Standard pinstriped suiting and Y2K low-rise denim remain uniquely simple, contrasted by the rest of the collection’s unforgiving attitude. Womenswear delivers knitted co-ords with ruffled red trimmings and satin shirting, followed by embellished zip-ups with first-prize ribbons. Hybrid M65 jackets ooze with utilitarian flair, paired with slashed skirts and sheer floral ensembles.

In the menswear department, essential schoolboy blazers and teal-trimmed shorts compose an ideal uniform, while flared jeans are layered with denim skirts and rope embellishments. Spotlighted knitwear completes the collection with additional brightness, collaborating with multi-faceted creative Adam Signature on distressed leather boots and loafers.
