Over the years, Jordan Brand has established an instantly-recognizable design language centered around its Air Jordan silhouettes and their many signature colorways. With time, they’ve gone on to reissue, remaster and mix & match these elements. For its latest twist, the Jumpman team tapped the Air Jordan 6 – coming in hot with a “Toro” colorway later this month — to outfit it with the popular “Aqua” color scheme.
Previously, the “Aqua” look has graced models such as the Air Jordan 8 and now finds itself covering the AJ6. Pairing black with “Bright Concord” purple and “Aquatone” blue, a familiar-yet-fresh presentation has been crafted. Its upper’s construction takes on a black nubuck with the aforementioned accents appearing at the layered sole unit.
As of now, Nike has yet to disclose any release information pertaining to the upcoming Air Jordan 6 “Aqua.” However, it is currently expected to land on shelves via the Swoosh and select retailers on October 7 at a $200 USD price point.
