English shoemaker Dr. Martens is expanding its platform silhouettes with the launch of its new Audrick collection.
Featuring the classic 8-eye boot, 3-eye shoe and Chelsea boot silhouettes in black Nappa Lux leather, the collection re-engineers the brand’s signature platform sole. The new Quad Neoteric sole is composed of a two-part platform with an EVA midsole and a rugged PVC outsole. Additionally, the platform contains a deep cleat design and is 1.9 inches tall. Finishing off the reworked design is a built-in SoftWair insole for comfort.
The three offerings include Dr. Martens’ signature heel loops and yellow welt stitching. Earlier this month, Dr. Martens teamed up with Herschel Supply Co. for a Pacific Northwest-inspired shoe collaboration, merging their everyday utilitarian aesthetics to rework the Combs II boot and Reeder shoe.
Retailing for $140 USD and $180 USD, the Audrick collection is available now on Dr. Martens’ website.
