London-based streetwear powerhouse, Corteiz, has just presented its latest drop — and it’s unveiled an all-new football jersey in celebration of Notting Hill Carnival.
Notting Hill Carnival is the world’s second-biggest party, taking over the streets of West London and standing as a British summertime institution. The event attracts up to two million partygoers annually and is a celebration of freedom and Caribbean culture, partnered with an iconic parade showcasing the best of mas, soca, calypso, steel bands, and soundsystems.
And while London’s biggest party welcomes the best in Caribbean culture and heritage, it also opens the door to experimental style — and Cortiez is intending to capitalize on that with its latest drop. Its new football jersey — that the brand promises will be delivered in time for Carnival — takes inspiration from classic Jamacia national team kits, with a yellow, green, and black color scheme.
Additionally, the new shirt is also complemented by a slew of Corteiz’s classic motifs, which take over the vast majority of the shirt in black; from the shoulders and back to the chest and midriff. Elsewhere, the jersey is hit with solid yellow and green tailored detailing on the sleeve and neckline, while the number 18 sits center stage on the front.
Rounding off the design, customary CRTZ branding arrives on the chest, with the right side featuring the brand’s traditional logo and the left struck with the label’s classic “rulestheworld” slogan.
You can take a closer look at the new release from Corteiz above and it will be available to shop via the brand’s official website from August 18 at 7 p.m. BST.
