For decades, the house of Calvin Klein has been known for its subtle-but-strong approach to high-end clothing construction, along with boundary-pushing visuals. For example, Brooke Shields and her legendary jeans campaign, and Mark Wahlberg posing with Kate Moss for a topless tag team. This year, the brand’s new Fall/Winter 2022 campaign combines star power with wearable classics, presenting iconic talents such as Susan Sarandon, Chloë Sevigny and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in its latest advertisement.

The campaign features a series of fashion images in a mix of warm sepia tones and cool black-and-white photos, capturing a range of body movements and facial expressions from A-list celebrities and models including Dominic Fike, JENNIE, Precious Lee, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez and more.

In the imagery, the cast is seen wearing a mix of the brand’s classic denim, underwear and loungewear collections for men and women. Standout items include the CK “Embossed Icon” signature logo design and the “Bonded Flex” wire-free support top, along with the “Modern Cotton” and “Modern Cotton Naturals” – with the “Naturals” items using more sustainable materials in the creation process.

Colorways include brand staples such as dark indigo denim in the form of jean jackets and pants, along with true-blue relaxed fit jeans, underwear with black-and-white contrast-color waistbands, along with white tank tops and black-hued intimates.

Photographed by Alasdair McLellan, the campaign’s modern vibe harkens back to the brand’s creative spirit of the ‘90s and is buffered by a companion video of talent “crossing paths” within a hyper-realized CK landscape.
