R&B and hip-hop artist Blxst has teamed up with Chicago streetwear store Jugrnaut for an exclusive capsule collection, which is being unveiled exclusively on Hypebeast. Entitled My City to Chi City, the collaboration features 4 different athletic wear-inspired garments and will be released through the artist’s own Evgle LLC imprint.

T-shirts in black and red colorways come screen-printed with a flying eagle and subtly read “Chicago Everywhere.” The backs of the shirts are emblazoned with Blxst’s name and a graphic of a plane ticket, inspired by the Los Angeles native’s commute to Chicago for Lollapalooza.

Fans can complete the look with matching shorts and sweatpants, which also display Blxst’s name, alongside the logo of his clothing imprint and label, Red Bull Records.

In addition to the capsule, Blxst tapped celebrity jacket designer Jeff Hamilton for a commemorative piece celebrating the release of his second solo LP, Before You Go. A limited drop of leather and wool jackets similar to Blxst’s will arrive alongside the capsule, packaged with a garment bag and collectible design sketch from Hamilton.

My City to Chi City will be available for purchase at Jugrnaut’s flagship store coinciding with Blxst’s performance at Lollapalooza. The capsule will launch on Friday, July 29 with a pop-up and meet-and-greet, after which it will be sold in-store for just the three-day festival weekend.

For those unable to attend Lollapalooza in person, the collection will be up for purchase on a 3D microsite on the same day of its real-life launch. The site will showcase a short film offering an inside look into how the collaboration with Jugrnaut came together, as well as an Apple Maps guide to Chicago and an interactive e-commerce experience.

Blxst is slated to perform at Lollapalooza on Saturday, July 30. Following the festival, he’ll continue his Before You Go World Tour, hitting Cleveland on August 1 performing throughout the United States and Europe before wrapping up in Manchester on November 16.
