Baltic has just released a dual-crown version of its AQUASCAPHE dive watch. Maintaining the AQUASCAPHE’s case dimensions (39x47mm) but will a slimmer profile, the dual-crown edition is a more modern take on the range as we now see the tool watch fitted with an internal bezel. The traditional hallmark of a super compressor watch case allows for the internal bezel to be adjusted via the two o’clock crown while maintaining its 200m of water resistance.
On top of having a highly legible dial that’s free from clutter, the case is also treated to polished chamfers and circular brushed lugs while the fixed bezel sees “brushed tourbillon” finishing. Rounding this mechanical watch off is a Miyota 9039 movement, a double-domed sapphire crystal, and the choice of either a metal bracelet or one made from recycled plastic from the ocean.
Priced at €650 EUR ($774 USD) for retail, Baltic is currently doing a special pre-order price of €550 EUR ($655 USD) where the first 300 orders will be numbered on the caseback. Those interested can expect the watches to ship out in September.
