The Chase and Tipping Point are pulled from the air ALL WEEK as ITV is hit by a dramatic scheduling shake-up
The Chase and Tipping Point have been hit by a huge ITV shake-up as they are pulled from the air for the rest of this week.
The two shows have been afternoon fixtures for the channel for many years, but sadly have been removed from the schedule and replaced by coverage of the Royal Ascot Festival.
Tipping Point, hosted by Ben Shephard, usually kicks off at 4pm, and sees four contestants battle it out to win a prize of £10,000 by dropping counters into the tipping machine.
The Chase, presented by Bradley Walsh, follows soon after, and sees contestants go head-to-head with serial quizzers to win a huge cash prize.
Instead, Royal Ascot coverage will air from 1:30pm until 6pm from Tuesday (June 20th) until Saturday (June 24th).

Luckily, viewers own’t have long to wait until the next episodes of their favourite game shows, with a celebrity special of The Chase set to air on Saturday.
Meanwhile Tipping Point will return to its usual slot on Monday, June 26.
It comes after fans of The Chase were left utterly stunned by a contestant’s fluke answer, which earned him £1,000 in the Cash Builder round.
Joining the presenter in the studio contestant Fintan battled it out against Mark ‘The Beast’ Labbett to take home the cash prize.
But in a first for the show, Bradley was flabbergasted when ‘jammy’ Fintan accidentally managed to answer a question correctly.
Taking to the podium, the player hoped to bag a whopping £50,000 and a place in the final, but was forced to pass when he didn’t know an answer.
Bradley had asked: ‘In computer security what word would go before code, phrase and word?’
Unable to answer, Fintan responded: ‘Pass.’

‘Correct! It’s happened, it’s actually happened’, Bradley declared in shock.
He added: ‘It’s happened. The word pass is an answer. You jammy so so!’
Unfortunately, his luck ended there as Fintan was eventually sent packing after being caught out by The Beast.
Tipping Point airs weekdays at 4pm, and The Chase airs at 5pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
