He also posted a series of photos and videos of his trip to Delhi where he saw the sights, travelled in an auto rickshaw, and tried the local cuisine.

The Ukrainian star documented part one of his journey: “Solo backpacking in India has been my dream trip since I was 15. Never had the time, so I always postponed it. Until this year when I decided that it’s now or now.”

He added that he “felt very ‘looked at’ at the beginning (and usually I don’t mind it) but after a bit I started to blend in”.

Directed by Strictly’s creative director Jason Gilkison, the tour featured group dances and several couple’s routines to various genres including country, Latin and even Disney and the 1980s.

The cast also performed a tribute to head judge Len Goodman who died in April from bone cancer.
