It’s easy to lose track of the days in lockdown, and now Stacey Solomon has admitted that the pandemic has led to her forgetting her fiancé Joe Swash’s birthday!

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Stacey secretly filmed the former EastEnders actor talking about how “excited” he is for his birthday before turning to the camera and flashing a look of sheer panic.

She captioned the video: “Omg biggest bombshell ever. This lockdown has made me lose track of EVERYTHING.

“I completely forgot it’s Joe’s birthday tomorrow.

“I’ve instantly muted him from my stories and I’m on Amazon as we speak.”

Joe can be heard in the background saying he’s “really excited” about turning 39 and asks: “What are we doing for my birthday tomorrow?” with Stacey replying and telling him that it will be a “good” day and she is planning a “surprise”.

Putting her impressive crafting skills to good use, Stacey’s next post saw her reveal that she is making a handmade card for her husband-to-be whilst he is in in the shower.

“While Rex is having a nap and Joes in the shower. I’ve got my ink pad out might as well make a card,” she wrote.

She continued: “The only way to make these hand/footprints good is while they’re asleep”.

Getting creative, Stacey got a piece of blank white card and used a black ink pad to print their one year old son Rex’s foot on the front of the card whilst he slept.

“I've had this ink for sooo long since last Father's Day and it still works wahoo. Found a nice quote on Pinterest. Thank G-d for Pinterest,” she captioned the clip of herself putting the card together.

Sharing a snap of the finished product, which reads: “Daddy, I love you from the bottom of my ‘sole’”, Stacey wrote: “Well that's all I can do until he goes to bed tonight.

"This lockdown is impossible. I've ordered some bits hoping they come today but I doubt it. I'll attempt a cake later and hopefully I can make it look like I didn't forget.” [sic]

Stacey recently revealed that she and Joe would “love” to have more children together if they are “lucky enough one day”.

Sharing a snap of herself and Joe’s son Rex, one, with her sons Zachary, 12, and Leighton, eight, the 31 year old wrote on her Instagram Stories: “I live for these humans. They are my heart, my soul, my reason for everything.”

Adding a crying with laughter and praying emoji, Stacey continued: “Joe and I would LOVE more kids if we are lucky enough one day… but for now, with everything going on we are just trying our best to keep our head above the water with our boys”.

The Loose Women star’s comments came in response to a fan’s question asking: “Are you going to have any more pickles stace? Xxx”.

Presenter Joe is also dad to Harry, 13, from a previous relationship.
