Sharon Osbourne has discussed the adverse effect of Ozzy Osbourne’s failing health and how their marriage has been impacted.
The infamous pair, who met due to Sharon’s father Don Arden managing the Prince of Darkness’ band, Black Sabbath, have been married for 41 years and share three children.
In a new interview, the 71-year-old has admitted it’s been a “very tough” five years for the family due to her husband’s various health issues.
In 2019, the 74-year-old rocker had a fall in his home and damaged his spine which resulted in the musician undergoing multiple surgeries.
Back in 2003, Ozzy was also diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, however, he did not publicly share details about his battle until 2020.

When asked if hard times were behind them, the former X Factor judge said: “No because I look at my husband’s illness and how it’s changed our lives.
“It’s been a very, very tough five years. The pain is getting better but it’s devastating watching someone you love be sick for so long.”
Sharon continued to tell Metro that their family life has changed “radically” and while she gets to spend more time with her husband, he is apparently “fed up” with her telling him what to do.
“Taking care of him has put my life on a different path to what it was,” she added.

Elsewhere in the interview, Sharon revealed that she and the Neon Knights singer were making a move back to the UK.
She explained that she feels “safer” in England, and is hoping that the pair can live a “more peaceful life” and have a little more privacy.
“In LA my husband can’t go for a walk without paparazzi taking pictures and people saying ‘Poor frail Ozzy, he’s got three months to live’, or rubbish like that,” Sharon continued.
The Masked Singer guest judge also added that whenever the rocker leaves their Californian pad, he is “followed by the same photographers”.
The pair are expected to spend Christmas together at their home in Buckinghamshire, while their children Aimee, 40, Kelly, 39, and Jack, 38, are expected to stay in the US.
In January 2024, Sharon will be bringing her new stage show Sharon Osbourne Cut The Crap to London’s Fortune Theatre and Birmingham’s Alexandra.
