Reese Witherspoon turned the red carpet into family night. On Sunday, the entire clan tagged along for the premiere of her latest movie Sing 2 in Los Angeles — five years after the release of the original film.
The actress was joined by her husband Jim Toth and kids — Ava, 22 and Deacon, 18 (from her previous marriage to Ryan Phillipe) and Tennessee, 9, whom she and Toth share. For the event, Reese opted for a sparkly red and pink gingham-print mini dress that she paired with matching pointy-toe pumps and a vibrant lip of the same shade.
Her lookalike daughter Ava wore a V-neck black velvet dress with white eyelet lace lapels and black ankle-strap pumps. Her pink locks were pulled back into an updo with face-framing bangs.
After the screening, Reese took to Instagram to share a time-lapse video set to the tune of Simple Plan's "I'm Just a Kid" of the family at Sunday's premiere, before throwing it back to a photo from the original film's red carpet five years ago. While Reese and her husband Jim seem to be aging in reverse, the side-by-side comparison of the kids showed how half a decade can really make a difference. And in our December/January cover story, Reese opened up about her and Ava's uncanny resemblance. "Well, I love being mistaken for her because it makes me feel so young," she said. "I'm so proud of her. She really rolls with it. I'm sure it's not easy looking exactly like your mother."
