Shaughna Phillips is celebrating the first week of her newborn daughter Lucia’s life – which just happens to fall on the same day as her own birthday.

Shaughna, who just turned 28, shared a snap of her and her little one enjoying a mother-daughter day out to a local coffee shop and revealed to fans that she had finally obtained Lucia’s birth certificate.

The former Love Island star joked that Lucia “became an official person today!” in the caption as she held the newborn's birth certificate next to her as she was sound asleep in her pram under a baby pink blanket.

The birth certificate came with a sweet keepsake card, which bears a cartoon baby mobile and the words “hello baby” in large bubble letters.

Alongside the pictures, Shaughna wrote: “Happy birthday to me & happy one week old to my dream girl Lucia, the only present mama could ever wish for.”

She added: "Lucia also became an official person today! Life is so much more now, I’m obsessed."

Shaughna’s celeb pals rushed to support the new mum in the comments, as well as wishing her a happy birthday.

Fellow former Love Island star Demi Jones, 24, who starred alongside Shaughna in the first series of Winter Love Island in 2020, said, “Happy birthday my beautiful girl!!” while former presenter Laura Whitmore, 37, wished Shaughna a happy birthday too.

Married at First Sight UK star Amy Christophers, 36, remarked that Shaughna’s daughter was the “image” of her, while a fan of Shaughna’s told her that she “loved the unique name.”

Shaughna gave birth to Lucia on 4 April 2023 after she was induced after going past her due date.

After giving birth, Shaughna took to her social media to write: “my darling Lucia, I wish I had you sooner so I could love you longer”, in an adorable tribute shared with her 1.4 million Instagram followers.

Since then, Shaughna has been updating her fans regularly as she navigates the earliest days of motherhood.

The star has been candid about how much she worries about her little one, and previously revealed that she now feels like “everything is so scary all of a sudden.”

As they headed out on their first walk, Shaughna wrote: "Lucia’s first dog walk.

"Everything is so scary all of a sudden, cars are too loud, pavements are too bumpy, but we made it my dream girl."
