Kim Woodburn has revealed doctors "cut a hole in her throat" to treat a broken disc as she shared an update after her hospital visit.
How Clean Is Your House star Kim, 80, concerned fans as she posted a photo of herself in hospital wearing a gown and stirring on a bed with a cardboard sick bowl on her head and tubes in her nose.
As she posted the photo on Instagram over the weekend, she joked in the caption: "My hospital outfit. Do you like the hat?"
Kim then revealed she was set to be discharged as she added: "Home tonight! Yippeee!"
Following the trip to hospital, Kim has shared an update with her followers on her health and explained she had an operation to replace her "rotten" disc with a titanium one.
Kim explained she had the procedure due to a "very bacd disc" in her neck that she said had affected her hands and could have affected the use of her legs, too.
In the clip, which Kim shared with her 75.9K followers, the Celebrity Big Brother star dressed in a leopard print top and scarf, which she had open to show the bandage on the front of her neck.
Kim sat in her kitchen and had a glass of gin in front of her as she seemed positive and jovial following the op.
Addressing her fans, she said: "Hello my loves, thank you for all your good messages and I'll tell you what's gone on."
Explaining the reason behind her hospital visit, Kim continued: "I had a disc behind the ear which was fractured or something, broken.
"And the doctor had to – the specialist – go in, he cut a big hole in my throat here, he went in with his fingers – I don't know, took out the rotten disc and put a titanium disc in.
"I'm getting the use back in my fingers because it was killing all the use in my fingers. And that was reason he did it because if it went to my legs I wouldn't be able to walk."
She then insisted she was in good shape after the op and jokingly said she "refuses to die".
Kim went on: "But I think it's quite good you know. So thanks for all the messages but I'm not dying my love, I refuse to die dear!
"And all the messages all over the world are coming in, thanks my loves I do half appreciate them. But I'll out live you lot," she quipped. "Excuse me while I have my gin, excuse me."

She then took a sip from her gin glass and said: "Lovely" before she flashed a smile at the camera and put the glass back on the table.
Kim was flooded with more messages of support in the comment section from fans. One wrote: "Love you Kim. Get well soon. You are the best!"
Another added: "You enjoy your gin and tonic hun!!! Hope you have a great recovery".
While a third said: "Glad you’re on the mend! Get the hun down you! x"
