Pete Davidson has dated a lot of famous women.
Dude’s really only been famous himself for a few years, but when it comes to hooking up with A-listers, he’s pretty much the undisputed GOAT.
These days, Pete is dating Kim Kardashian, and he’s paying tribute to his new boo the same way that he honored Ariana Grande, Kate Beckinsale, Kaia Gerber, and … well, who knows how many others?
Yes, Pete has gotten another tattoo in the name of love — but this time, he’s taken things several steps further.
Kim first spoke about Pete’s new ink in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres earlier this month.
Up to that point, Kim had been quite private about the relationship, but she was clearly in a sharing mood on Ellen.
“Yeah, he has a few tattoos — a few cute ones, you know, that he got,” she explained to the host.
“But the ‘Kim’ one isn’t a tattoo. It’s actually a branding.”
Yes, despite his promiscuity, you can’t accuse Pete of treating women like pieces of meat.
Not when he’s busy treating himself like cattle!
But the brand is just the three letters of Kim’s name.
As far as the written content that covers Pete’s body it’s not all that interesting.
Apparently, the one Kim likes best features a full sentence of text.
“The other ones are, like, cutesy things. I think my favorite one, it says here,” she explained, noting that one of Pete’s new tatts reads, ”My girl is a lawyer.'”
“That one’s really cute,” Kim told Ellen.
That was several weeks ago, and now, we’re finally getting a glimpse of the flesh resumé that Pete scrawled on his skin in honor of Kim’s legal ambitions:
Yep! There it is, folks!
Money can buy you just about anything, but clearly, it can’t always buy you a quality tattoo.
Just kidding, Pete!
Now, the question on a lot of people’s minds is how accurate is Pete’s tattoo?
Is he lying about his girlfriend’s qualifications?
The answer, of course, is … well, yeah, kind of.
Kim is working toward becoming a lawyer, but she still has a very long way to go.
The 41-year-old passed the baby bar exam last year after several attempts, but lots of people reach that point and never go much further.
That’s a very real possibility in Kim’s case, as she never attended law school and has no intention of enrolling.
Instead, Kim is interning at a San Francisco law office.
She’s working for free in an effort to learn the ropes with the hope that she might eventually follow in her father’s footsteps by becoming licensed to practice law in California.
Kim has already helped secure pardons for several non-violent offenders who were serving life sentences.
She’s says that if and when she becomes a full-fledged attorney, she’ll continue to focus on ensuring more equitable sentencing for disadvantaged drug offenders.
So Kim’s not quite a lawyer yet, but she is already engaged in some very important work.
Needless to say, it’s not hard to see why Pete is so proud!
