Khloé Kardashian is setting tongues wagging again. The 36-year-old reality star and entrepreneur recently shared a photo on Instagram that shows off her incredible Easter-inspired nail art, but it also happens to show off one absolutely massive diamond ring around the ring finger of her left hand. Fans and followers immediately began speculating that this ring might be an engagement ring from Tristan Thompson, the father of Khloé’s daughter, True.
The top comment on the post is from none other than Thompson himself, and it definitely seems like something is in the air. Thompson simply left a string of emojis, featuring eyes, heart eye smiley faces, and diamonds, which was more than enough to kick off a social media frenzy.
The pair reportedly reunited in 2020, with a source telling People that Khloé had never been happier. “She loves having him around. He has the best relationship with True. And he has been amazing to Khloé too. They are very much together and Khloé is beyond happy.”
Khloé Kardashian is looking forward to a future with Tristan.
Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson broke up in 2019, after numerous rumors that Thompson had cheated on Kardashian surfaced and were verified. In 2018, Thompson was busted for cheating on Kardashian while she was pregnant with their daughter (via People); in 2019, he was accused of kissing longtime Kardashian family friend Jordyn Woods at a party.
The 2018 cheating scandal was particularly upsetting for Kardashian, but she told her family on an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians that she planned to still have Thompson present at their daughter’s birth. “I’m mature enough to say that. I’m mature enough to put personal feelings aside. Me and Tristan will deal with him and I at a later time, when this isn’t affecting our child” (via People).
These days, Kardashian seems to be focused on the road ahead. In February, Entertainment Tonight reported that the pair were hoping to conceive a second child together. Kardashian explained, “In my head, when I was going to have kids, I never, ever imagined having an only child. Especially being on quarantine with her, I felt bad. She had no friends. She had nobody. They were isolated even from each other (True’s cousins) for so long.”
