Khloe Kardashian fans have slammed the reality TV star for her “ungrateful” comments regarding her birthday, as the star celebrated her 39th birthday last week.

Fans have urged the mum of two to be more “grateful” about her life after she took to her Instagram stories to share a video of some of her gifts, and also revealed that she “couldn’t wait” for next year when she turns 40.

The reality star showed off a funny birthday card that featured the number 39 along with a middle finger and various other gifts, including a selection of pens, hairclips and a t-shirt with her iconic mugshot from 2007 and a Parental Advisory label printed onto it.

Speaking to the camera, Khloe said in the clip: “I don't love showing all my gifts because I think it's sort of obnoxious, but this one was too funny [referring to the card].”

The mum of two continued: “I hate being in my 30s, I think it's the worst decade ever.

“And I cannot wait to be in my 40s. So, this card, Alexa I don’t know where you found this… but it's genius."

Fans found Khloe’s comment about her age insensitive, as one person wrote: “Worse decade? I hope your kids don’t ever see this! You had them in your 30’s!”, while another said: “There’s so many kids battling cancer that would love to make it to their 30’s. Be grateful”.

Another added: “Orrrrrr you could just be grateful you're alive and able to enjoy life. Lots of people don't live to see 39”, while another wrote: “Now Imagine being Broke in your thirties trying to make sure you have enough money for gas and groceries for your family. I swear this family is hilarious”.

Khloe has been sharing her most recent life events on the reality show The Kardashians which returned to Disney Plus on 25 May.

During the first episode of the new season, Khloe revealed the name of her son who was born via a surrogate last August. After keeping his sweet name under wraps for 10 months, Khloe finally revealed that his name was Tatum.
