Today in Royals: They’re Just Like Us Kate Middleton swapped her diamonds out for a pair of earrings worth literally £2.10 (which ends up being $2.86). The Daily Mail ID’d the earrings as being from London jewelry brand Accessorize, where they are—inevitably/sadly—sold out at the moment. But here’s a pic of Kate wearing them to her event today to make you jealous:

Anyway, a little more on Kate’s event this morning: she was joined by her husband Prince William at the Foundling Museum, where they discussed “issues affecting young people in care and later in life.”
