Former Soccer Saturday presenter Jeff Stelling has posted a heartbreaking update to his 254,000 followers on X, formerly known as Twitter.

On Saturday night he took to the social media platform to disclose that his beloved dog was “fighting for his life.”

“Tonight guys you can support as many teams as you like. I don’t care. I don’t care much about football tonight tbh [to be honest],” he wrote alongside a picture of his beloved pet.

“I know some people will think it is pathetic but right now he is all I care about,” he concluded without giving any further details about what was wrong with the pooch.
