After attending the ‘Anti-Hero’ hitmaker’s Detroit concert, the Public Enemy member shares a video of him exchanging custom friendship bracelets with her devoted fans.
AceShowbiz –Flavor Flav was seeking to hire Swifties to make custom friendship bracelets. Having attended Taylor Swift‘s Detroit concert at Ford Field which was part of her “Eras Tour”, the Public Enemy member found the exchange trend set by her devotees interesting.
On Sunday, June 11, the 64-year-old Hip-Hop artist reached out to the fans of the “Bad Blood” songstress to help him make custom friendship bracelets. He announced via Twitter, “Swifties,,, I wanna hire one of yall to make me some custom Flavor Flav bracelets to trade for the next Eras Tour stop ya boy hits up,,,, Who can help,??”
Impressed by the responses he received, the “Give It Up” rapper wrote in a follow-up tweet, “Ya boy wants hundreds of bracelets,,, maybe thousands,,, so maybe we hire several of yall,,, looking for: •ITS•A•CLOCK• + •FLAVOR•FLAV. In Navy with Silver. Gonna start DMing some of yall.”
Flavor Flav is hiring Swifties to make him custom friendship bracelets.
Flav’s announcement came a few days after he attended Taylor’s tour stop at Ford Field in Detroit. During the Friday night, June 9 show, he got to meet Swifties and exchanged many friendship bracelets with them. He even shared a photo of his bracelet collection from the concert on Instagram.
In the snap, Flav could be seen smiling from ear to ear while showing off the bracelets he received from Swifties that he wore on his wrist. Along with the picture, he wrote in the caption, “FLAVOR FLAV::: in my RED (Taylor’s Version) Era and makin new friends at #TaylorSwift.”
Flav offered more look at how he got the bracelets by letting out a video on Saturday, June 10. In the clip, he was documented greeting Swifties and exchanging the friendship bracelets while taking photos with some of them. At one point, he proudly showed off how many bracelets he got.
Accompanying the footage, Flav wrote, “FLAVOR FLAV::: Making trouble with my girl @taylorswift and making friends,,, so make the friendship bracelets, take the moment and taste it. THANKX to Taylor and team, Erica, Marissa, Jenny, and iHeart for making this happen. BIGGER THANKX to all my new friends for the friendship bracelets.”
For the concert night, Flavor donned a red jacket, matching baseball cap and a pair of matching pants to represent Taylor’s song “Red”. He also sported a white T-shirt with “I knew she was trouble” written over it.
