Emmerdale’s Isabel Hodgins was overwhelmed with emotion last night after beau Adam Whitehead asked her to be his wife.
She took to Instagram to share a video capturing the moment the proposal took place, after declaring it “the most incredible night of my life”.
“I said yes to marrying my best friend. My kind, sweet, patient and generous perfect person. I can’t wait to spend forever with you,” she gushed to her 153,000 followers.
The video depicted Adam slipping a ring on her finger as she told him “Yes” and then leaning in over the romantically lit dinner table for a lingering smooch.
The pair’s proposal video was published to the tune of Becky Hill and Weiss’ track ‘I Could Get Used To This’.

It’s barely been a year since the soap star went Instagram official with her relationship, having previously dated her on-screen brother-in-law Ross Barton (played by Michael Parr).
However, the pair called it quits in 2019, the year that he left the country to pursue an acting career further afield in the USA.
Following news of her engagement, the actress was inundated with support from her Emmerdale co-stars after sharing the happy news.
