Aliana Scott and Matt Moeller, who have been dating for more than seven years, get engaged after he proposes to her on the rooftop of The Monarch Club in Detroit, Michigan.
AceShowbiz -Congratulations are in order for Eminem‘s daughter Alaina Scott. Announcing that she’s gotten engaged to her longtime beau Matt Moeller, Alaina debuted her ring in a new social media post.
Taking to her Instagram account, the 28-year-old beauty shared some pictures from the proposal, which took place on the rooftop of The Monarch Club in Detroit, Michigan. In the first snap, she’s seen smiling widely as her beau got down on his knee.
The second picture saw Alaina kissing Matt after he popped the big question. The daughter of the “Not Afraid” emcee also let out a third image to give fans a closer look at her ring, which appears to be an emerald cut diamond in a gold band. In the accompaniment of the post, she raved, “this moment. this life [red heart emoji] yes a hundred times over. I LOVE YOU.”
Alaina and Matt have been dating for more than seven years. Back in late July, Alaina celebrated their latest anniversary by sharing a sweet photo of the two on Instagram. “While my love for you has somehow grown over these last 7 years, one thing has remained the same – you are my favorite person,” she first gushed in the caption.
“You are my best friend, the best fur dad, and the best partner,” she went on noting. “Thank you for loving me as effortlessly as you do. Happy anniversary, ILY [red heart emoji].”
Alaina is Eminem’s adoptive daughter. Her biological mother is Dawn Scott, who is the sister of the rapper’s ex-wife, Kim Scott. Dawn died in 2016 from a suspected drug overdose.
Eminem previously opened up about his relationship with Alaina when speaking to Rolling Stone in 2004. “I have full custody of my niece and joint custody of [my daughter] Hailie,” he said at the time. “I was always there for Hailie, and my niece has been a part of my life ever since she was born. Me and Kim pretty much had her, she’d live with us wherever we was at.”
