He’s about to do battle with the daleks but new Doctor Who Ncuti Gatwa has a greater challenge first – learning how to pronounce his name. Ncuti, pictured as Eric in Netflix drama Sex Education, once took to social media to set fans straight on the pronunciation, only to receive a call from his mum informing him he had been saying it wrong! Rwandan-Scottish Ncuti, pronounced ‘shoo-ti’, is taking over as the 15th Doctor.

Most celebs are loath to admit they have had cosmetic work done, but not former Made In Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh. In the past Millie, 34, has spoken freely of having lip injections and now she has lifted the lid on her other regular ‘tweakment’ – Botox jabs.

The ‘Modfather’ is to become a grandfather once again. Jam star Paul Weller’s musician daughter Leah, 32, is pregnant and showed off her baby bump by posing in a floral skirt on Instagram last week. The show’s producer Andy Harries has revealed the Corporation seriously considered taking the show. But he told industry website Deadline that both the BBC and ITV turned it down for political and financial reasons before Netflix snapped it up. Certainly the BBC might not want to relive Martin Bashir’s interview with Princess Diana, played by Elizabeth Debicki.
