The former Disney stars are portraying younger versions of former President Ronald Reagan and his first love Margaret “Mugs” Cleaver.

Reagan was filmed in Oklahoma and California, and follows Reagan’s journey from his childhood in Dixon, IL to Hollywood to the White House.

Also starring are Dennis Quaid as the adult Reagan, Penelope Ann Miller as Nancy Reagan, Mena Suvari as Reagan’s first wife Jane Wyman, Lesley-Anne Down as Margaret Thatcher, Kevin Dillon as Jack Warner and Jon Voight as the KGB agent who tracked Reagan for 40 years.

Directed by Sean McNamara, the movie will be released in 2022.
