Nicola Baker took to Instagram this afternoon to share some big news with her 28,700 followers. The Our Farm in the Dales star revealed that she and husband Matt Baker, 44, would be returning to screens tonight.
Nicola posted a sweet black and white photograph of herself and Matt beaming at the camera as she shared the happy news.
“We’ve just found out they’re putting Series 2 of Our Farm in the Dales on Channel 4 tonight!” she announced.
“C4 Saturday nights at 7.30pm for the next 6 weeks. A chance to catch it if you didn’t see it on More4,” she added helpfully.
Matt Baker: Our Farm in the Dales follows the Countryfile star after he moves with his wife and children to the organic sheep farm where he grew up in the Durham hills to help secure its future.
Under Nicola’s post, Matt replied: “Black and white inspiration from my post… I’m on my back from feeding up X.”
Matt was referring to his own Instagram post that went up minutes before, which featured a black and white video.
In the clip, Matt can be seen driving along as a flock of sheep run up just behind him.
Addressing his 293,000 Instagram followers, he wrote: “Hi all – the second series of Our Farm In The Dales is repeated on CH4 tonight at 7:30!
“If you fancy a watch – Be lovely to have your company.
“Lambing, building, car restoration, baking – all the usual random stuff we get up to on our hill.”
In his video, he added: “I’ve just found out from my grandma that the second series of Our Farm in the Dales is going out tonight on Channel 4!
“Can you believe it, girls?!” Matt exclaimed, turning the camera towards his sheep.

“They can’t believe that our little farm’s gone primetime,” he joked.
Plenty of Matt’s followers flooded the comment section with happy, supportive messages ahead of the show’s return.
The Farm on the Hill Instagram account @hellofromthehill responded with clapping and laughter emojis.
“Lovin the bouncing Hebs in the background,” they penned in reference to the large flock of sheep. (sic)
Nicola also replied to her husband Matt, writing: “Woohoo! I love that we still have the Christmas lights on the buggy [laughter emoji]”.
Presenter Ben Fogle replied with a raised hands emoji, while TV farmer Jimmy Doherty wrote: “You need some pigs,” earning a laugh from Matt.
Matt also reposted Nicola’s picture of them both to his story, adding the sweet caption: “Love her.”
