Britney Spears deleted her Instagram account entirely on her own volition.
A source told UsWeekly that Britney ‘chose to disable her own Instagram,’ just one day after expressing to her 40million followers that she wants to be ‘feared’ not ‘loved.’
The 40-year-old semi-retired pop star’s account disappeared on Wednesday.

Instagram officials told TMZ that they did not remove it – further supporting reports that it was Britney’s choice.
Curiously, Britney – who favored Instagram – did not delete her Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, or SoundCloud accounts.
Spears’ most recent Instagram post from Tuesday was about her returning to Las Vegas as a tourist for the first time since the January 2019 cancellation of her residency Dominion.
‘The only thing I’ve known when I used to go to Vegas was a hour long meet and greets with 40 people every night getting the worst pics of me and then a two hour show!’ the former Mouseketeer wrote.
