A WOMAN who despaired after her hair fell out in clumps, has seen her mane transformed.

The bald patches are gone and in their place are super long and glossy tresses.

She put the secret to this radical change down to a $2 kitchen essential.

It was a bit of a messy process, but it worked for her and she hasn't looked back.

“Magic for the hair," was how Amber Pot (@amberpot) described her hair savior.

This lady has 452,000 followers on TikTok, where she aims to “share my hair secrets.”

There was a process to her method and it started with the application of oil.

“The deep oiling effect is why I’m consistent," she said in her post.

This was followed by a scalp massage.

Then it was the turn of her magic tip.

It was unconventional, but Amber was convinced.

As far as she was concerned, the results proved its effectiveness.

She used a roll of saran wrap, a cheap kitchen essential, swaddled her hair tightly, and allowed the oil to work.

There it was left for anything between two and five hours.

When she was finished, she simply shampooed off.

But it was “important to double shampoo," she said to remove all traces of the greasy substance.

“Hair oiling routine that works wonders. Repeat twice a week," she instructed.

The saran wrap created a greenhouse-like atmosphere, effectively trapping moisture into hair strands.

Experts at Healthline had this to say about scalp massage.

"Although research is limited, the scientific evidence to date shows that while scalp massages can’t cure hair loss, they do show promise with promoting hair growth.

"You can give yourself a scalp massage using your fingertips or you can use a scalp massaging tool."

Commenters were eager to know more about her hair prevention tip.
