FROM Costa to Caffè Nero, we all have our preferences when it comes to high-street coffee chains.
But do you think you could identify them purely by taste alone? Well, that's exactly what one coffee fan has done – and there's one high-street brand that she was left rather unimpressed with.
In a clip shared to TikTok (@shannon.futcher), Shannon, who prides herself on being a coffee connoisseur, can be seen sitting in front of a row of coffees from all of the major high-street chains, which are hidden out of sight behind a black box.
The coffee fan, who admits she "dislikes" Costa and finds Caffè Nerohit or miss, begins by taking a sip of the first one and notes: "Oh, it's watery…I think that's Pret."
Next up, she immediately identifies the coffee from Costa and Starbucks due to the fact they're both "milky."
Shannon then moves onto the next one and after taking a swig, says: "Okay, that one tastes like cigarettes…yeah, that's Caffè Nero. That's got to be Caffè Nero."

She captioned the post: "Comment your winner/favourite! BLIND TASTE TEST high street coffee (UK) … when I said I was a coffee connoisseur, I meant it."
It wasn't long before the post went viral, racking up over 978k views and several comments.
"Caffè Nero = cigarettes!!!! No one ever get it when I say this," wrote one.

A second disagreed: "Caffè Nero is my absolute fave!!! nobody does a chai latte like Nero."
A third commented: "I think i’d get it right. Pret is watered down, Costa is weak and milky, Starbucks tastes burnt, Nero is sometimes nice."
