Madonna has gone down memory lane to celebrate son Rocco’s birthday.

The Back That Up To the Beat singer took to Instagram to share a sweet video montage dedicated to her oldest son, as he turned 23.

The heartfelt clip, set to the Beatles’ Here Comes The Sun, included footage from when he was a newborn, as well as unseen snaps of family holidays.

‘Happy Birthday Dearest Rocco. From the day you were conceived, Life with You Has been an adventure,’ the proud mom, 64, wrote alongside the upload.

‘From Your Pre Mature Birth to your love of Skate Boarding, Dirt Bikes. Break Dancing, Parkour, Graffiti and all Adrenaline Provoking activities!

‘You have made me worry – possibly more than any other person on the planet. But You have taken the road less traveled by and that will make all the difference!

‘Nothing gives me more Joy then to watch you grow as an artist!’

She added: ‘To quote your favorite painter Lucian Freud – “What do I ask of a painting? I ask it to astonish, disturb, seduce, convince!” Keep Walking Down Your Own Road. I’m so proud of you!’

Madonna shares Rocco with ex-husband Guy Ritchie, and is also mom to Lourdes, David, Mercy, Stella and Estere.

The family celebrations come after a tough few months for the Like A Virgin musician, following a worrying health scare.

She made headlines when she was hospitalized at the end of June, after she was found unresponsive.

At the time, Madge’s loved ones were thought to be ‘fearing the worst’ amid reports that  she was ‘vomiting uncontrollably’ – doctors later discovered that she had contracted a serious bacterial infection.

In an update shared on Instagram a month after she returned home from the facility, Madonna posted snaps as she cuddled up with Lourdes and David, explaining that she was ‘lucky to be alive’.

‘Love from family and friends is the best Medicine. One month out of the hospital and I can reflect,’ she wrote. ‘As a Mother you can really get caught up In the needs Of your children and the seemingly endless giving.

‘But when the chips were down my children really showed up for me. I saw a side to them I had never seen before. It made all the difference. So did the love and support from my friends.

‘Thank you to all my angels who protected me and let me Stay to finish doing my work!’
