The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department revealed that it conducted a search related to the unsolved murder of Tupac Shakur.
According to AP, the authorities confirmed in a statement that the search took place in the city of Henderson, nearby to Las Vegas where Pac was shot and killed in September 1996. They did not reveal any other additional details, however, including if there were any suspects/evidence found or what/who was exactly searched. Department spokesperson Aden OcampoGomez explained that further details could not be revealed due to the ongoing nature of the case.
2Pac was shot and killed in a drive-by on September 7, 1996, after watching the Bruce Seldon vs. Mike Tyson fight. He was shot a total of four times in the arm, thigh and twice in the chest, with one of the bullets piercing his right lung. He died on September 13 from internal bleeding.
