Euphoria stars have paid tribute to their castmate Angus Cloud following his death aged 25.

The late actor’s family confirmed his death in a statement, saying that he was an ‘incredible human’ and ‘special to all of us in so many ways’.

Cloud, who buried his father last week, has been remembered by former colleagues, loved ones and fans, with several members of the Euphoria cast honouring his memory.

Javon Walton played Ashtray, a younger brother figure to Fezco, the kind-hearted drug dealer who Cloud portrayed on the drama.

Walton, 17, shared a photo on Instagram of him and his late co-star sharing a hug, writing in the caption: ‘Rest easy brother❤️🕊️.’

The Umbrella Academy star also shared a picture on his Story of the two of them sharing a handshake, writing on top of it: ‘Forever family ❤️.’

Storm Reid – who plays Gia in Euphoria, the younger sister to Zendaya’s Rue – shared a clip on her Story of Cloud acting in a scene opposite Maude Apatow as Lexi.

‘The tears just won’t stop,’ the 20-year-old wrote.

Colman Domingo stars in the show as Ali, a man who becomes Rue’s sponsor at her Narcotics Anonymous meetings.

He posted a group photo of members of the Euphoria cast at the premiere for the show in 2022, where Cloud was taking a selfie of them all.

‘And that was his smile. That was him. May he rest sweetly in peace,’ Domingo wrote, with the photo showing Cloud beaming from ear to ear.

The actor also wrote on his Instagram Story alongside a photo of himself with Jacob Elordi and Cloud: ‘Couldn’t be more real, original and sweet. Loved this kid. Always smiles.

‘I hope this sensitive soul is at rest. Check on loved ones. Check on them.’

Kathrine Narducci, who played Cloud’s on-screen grandmother Marie O’Neill in Euphoria, paid tribute to him on Twitter, describing him as a ‘gentle beautiful soul’.

Sharing a selfie of them together, she wrote: ‘@anguscloud you were a gentle beautiful soul. You exited to soon.’

Alexa Demie, who plays Maddy Perez, simply posted a heartbreak emoji on her Instagram Story.

In a statement which was also shared on the Euphoria social media channels, US TV network HBO said that they were ‘incredibly saddened to learn of the passing of Angus Cloud’.

‘He was immensely talented and a beloved part of the HBO and Euphoria family. We extend our deepest condolences to his friends and family during this difficult time.’
