Janette Manrara on returning to work after giving birth
Strictly Come Dancing couple Janette Manrara and Aljaz Skorjanec have teased the possibility of adding to their brood just three months after welcoming their first child Lyra Rose.
The adorable tot was born on 28 July at London’s Portland Hospital, weighing a healthy 7lb 7oz.
Aljaz is taking a career break to care for her having left the rating topping BBC One Saturday night show last year.
“I can’t wait to do daddy daycare – it’s my favourite job ever. I have waited to be a dad for so long and I feel very lucky to be able to spend so much time with my daughter.”
“I’m really looking forward to the future and already thinking about our second child,” he teased in an interview with Hello! magazine.

However, he acknowledged that “Janette is still recovering [from the birth] but added he was “planning to keep the bottles, just in case.”
Janette is already back at work hosting Strictly: It Takes Two which she alternates with Fleur East.
She previously admitted to Express.co.uk that she felt relieved when she was offered the presenting job on It Takes Two, as her career as a professional dancer didn’t allow her time to become a mum.
At last week’s best Heroes awards she addressed how she is coping as a working mum.
“I’m down in London for the next three days,” she said. “He [Aljaz] looks after Lrya while I’m here – so lots of FaceTimes, lots of videos, and photos are being sent.

“I love working, always have. I think it’s because I love what I do, so I was very happy to come back to work because I missed it, but at the same time, the best part of my life is being a mother to Lyra,” she gushed.
The family will be reunited shortly as the couple are preparing to go on tour with their new Christmas show Dancing in a Winter Wonderland.
While Lyra will accompany them they admit that the grandmas are also coming along to help with childcare.
Janette and Aljaz met in 2010 when performing in the live dance show Burn The Floor, and they went on to wed in 2017.
