Gordon Ramsay takes a nasty tumble at the Las Vegas Grand Prix as climbs out of his car after channelling his inner racing driver during a practice lap

Gordon Ramsay took a nasty tumble on Saturday night after he completed a practice lap at the Las Vegas Grand Prix.

The restauranteur, 57, was enjoying his first outing since welcoming his sixth child after his wife Tana, 49, gave birth to a son Jesse James.

Gordon was spotted catching up alongside the likes of Rod Stewart – before he and DJ Steve Aoki raced each other in a lap before the actual competition kicked off.

But poor Gordon became dizzy as climbed out of the car and fell to the ground.

The celebrity chef had to steady himself for a few moments, while still in his helmet from the race.

Luckily he was soon back on his feet, giving Aoki a friendly hug.

Earlier on Saturday, Gordon spent some quality time with his daughter Holly, 23, as they attended the F1 race together.

Gordon opted for a casual figure as he sported a white T-shirt and a marl cardigan, while Holly wore a black scoop neck top with a blazer.

Celebrities have flocked on masse to watch the inaugural event – as drivers race to the backdrop of several Vegas landmarks, including the Bellagio fountains, Mandalay Bay, Caesars Palace, and the new ball-shaped MSG Sphere.

The Grand Prix has been packed with entertainment as Kylie Minogue took to the stage during the opening ceremony on Thursday as the headline act.

The casinos and clubs have packages catered for fans looking for something to do while waiting for the cars to hit the track late each night, including Kylie’s show.

Other acts at the glitzy ceremony included Tiesto, John Legend, Journey, Keith Urban, Jared Leto, Steve Aoki, J Balvin and Andra Day.

Las Vegas Grand Prix events were scheduled for November 16 through 18, with the race itself on Saturday night eventually seeing Max Verstappen claim victory.

The last time the city had hosted an F1 race had been in 1982 when it was home to the Caesars Palace Grand Prix.

Sharing the announcement on Instagram, Gordon said the birth was an ‘amazing birthday present’, as his birthday is on 8 November.

He wrote: ‘What an amazing birthday present please welcome Jesse James Ramsay, 7lbs 10oz whopper!! One more bundle of love to the Ramsay brigade!! 3 boys, 3 girls…. Done.’
