After months of construction, the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North in Scottsdale, Arizona, has unveiled its $13 million renovation that started last spring.

From the updated lobby designed to enhance the view of the natural setting to the modern look of the private casitas, visitors to the resort will notice a more subtle luxury.

“Our vision has been to bring the warmth, beauty and grandeur of our surroundings into the guest room experience in a new contemporary fashion,” resort general manager Kelly Moreton said in a statement.

The resort’s 210 casitas got a new look. Whitespace Interiors used what the resort calls a “subtle earth-tone palette” as well as woods and metals to highlight the lush desert views from the casitas’ patios and terraces.

Flat-screen televisions, complete with a speaker on the table, have been added to the patios of 100 casitas and suites, so guests can enjoy a movie or show outdoors.

The pool area has new furnishings including chaise lounges, chairs and cabanas, and the guest relaxation area in the spa was redesigned.
