At Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival, you can eat your way around the world with dishes like this seared lamb chop topped with mint pesto and potato crunchies at the Australian marketplace. Dave Kesting, general manager of Epcot festivals, tells PEOPLE most of their dishes are designed as tasting portions—so it leaves room for lots of snacking. This chop costs $7.75 and is available as one of the snacks options on the Disney Dining Plan (as are all offerings at the festival).
This kid-friendly, pulled pork slider is topped with sweet and sour Dole pineapple chutney (the Dole pineapple plantation is located in Hawaii) and spicy mayo—and is only $5.
The shrimp quesadilla may not sound like the most adventurous item on the menu, but sometimes you’re just really craving melted cheese. This $7.25 snack hit the spot, and the spicy guajillo sauce has just the right kick of heat.
For those of you who think German food is only pretzels, brats and beer, think again. For $4.25 you can eat an entire slab of pasta gratin with ham, onions and cheese.
Studded with chunks of chorizo and roasted chicken, this flavorful rice dish ($5.25) really hit the spot, especially when paired with a flight of Spanish wine ($8).
Hops & Barley (The American Adventure)
This is Kesting’s favorite dish of the festival, and we can see why. Sweet lobster meat is soaked in butter and drizzled with a fresh herb mayonnaise. And while lobster rolls can often be an expensive menu item, this three-bite sandwich comes in at only $8.
Chocolate lovers, unite! In this treat, phyllo dough is rolled with toasted almonds and dark chocolate sauce, and fried until crispy. For $4.50, this is a delicious sweet treat to break up all the savory options.
The line to taste this Brazilian cheese bread was the longest of the day, but it’s worth the wait. For $4.25, you get two rolls of pillowy bread stuffed with hot, gooey, melted cheese. Bonus, this option is vegetarian, gluten-free, and kid-friendly.
For $8, you can eat a perfect medium-rare cooked steak, doused in a luxurious truffle-butter sauce. Insider’s tip: If you like your steak cooked a little more, just ask. They’ll do their best to accomodate.
This dessert is practically a full-sized chocolate lava cake with a warm center that melts in your mouth. It’s covered in an Irish cream liquer custard, and costs only $4.25. It’s a perfect end-of-the-day dessert before heading home from the park.
