A dad nearly had his nose BITTEN OFF in a "traumatic" assault on a busy Cardiff Road.
The 26-year-old was left needing 13 stitches after an unprovoked attack on City Road on November 10, the night of the Wales v Australia rugby game.
Police were called after the victim, who was bleeding heavily, ran into Tesco Express before being taken to the University Hospital of Wales.
It is thought Mr Pryce will be scarred for life from the vicious wound.
South Wales Police are now appealing for witnesses who might have seen the alleged assault.
An image from CCTV footage has been released of a suspect who is described as white, aged 35 to 45 with a bald head and Cardiff accent.
On the night of the incident he was wearing blue jeans and a green parka, and was seen with two other men and a woman, who were not involved in the assault.
It is believed the suspect had recently left the Roath Court Public House where a DJ was playing that night.
South Wales Police Detective Sergeant Dan Sweeney said: “The victim, bleeding heavily, went into Tesco where police were called.
"He was treated at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, and needed thirteen stitches.
"It is likely he will be scarred for life.
“We are appealing for any witnesses to this traumatic incident to come forward and are especially keen to trace the men and woman who were with the suspect.”
