A mum momentarily sparked concern online after putting what looked a lot like cigarettes her her little daughter's lunchbox.

Parents had to do a double take after she posted a snap on Facebook.

The Australian showed off the lunches she made for her daughter, eight, and son, 13.

It included a healthy mix of fruit, snacks and wraps – bit there was one item that got left people asking questions.

It was the "white and brown things" which really got other parents talking – but all soon became clear.

The mum said they were actually "Pocky Sticks" which she'd snapped in half so they fit in.

She posted: "Miss, 8, is having movie day in school and having pizza. She just need to pack fruits and snacks."

The she added: "Sir, 13, and Mr OldBoy having Honey Soy Chicken Salad Wrap Yoghurt Fruits N Snacks."

That's when people starting asking some questions.

"I thought the white and brown things were cigarettes at first glance," one person commented on her post.

Another was confused too, saying: "I thought they were cigs too."

A third added: "I was like why has miss 8 got ciggys in her lunch box."
