The calendar contains 24 milk chocolate pieces in festive shapes, with Santa, penguins and a Christmas tree all making an appearance.
One of these chocolates is a chocolate plaque that can be personalised with the recipient's name.
The calendar itself is decorated with an image of Father Christmas, a reindeer, a cheerful elf and several scarf-clad penguins.
To get your hands on the freebie, if you're aged over 16 and you live in the UK, all you need to do is visit this O2 Priority page, and click 'use now'.
You'll be asked to enter your O2 mobile number, at which point you'll be sent a code via text.
How to get access to O2 Priority
Some of the best offers include a free coffee every Tuesday and discounts at lots of restaurants.
To qualify all you need is an O2 number.
That means, even if you have a contract with a different provider, you can buy an O2 pay-as-you-go Sim card and get access to offers.
Pop your O2 Sim card in an unlocked phone or an old phone, connect to Wi-Fi and surf the app for deals.
Priority also gives you access to Channel Four shows 48 hours before they air, as well as access to gig tickets two days early.
You need to show this code in any standalone Thornton's store before midnight on Sunday November 18 – but be warned that the code will expire within 15 minutes of you receiving it.
So don't sign up until you're near a store. You can use Thornton's store locator tool to find your nearest shop.
The offer is limited to one calendar per O2 customer and is while stocks last. It can't be redeemed online.

Thorntons is also selling a The Snowman themed advent calendar and you can personalise it with your kid's name. They cost £7 each.
