Two days ago, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino began his prison sentence after pleading guilty to a 2014 tax evasion charge, and his Jersey Shore following has been nothing but supportive.

Mike’s wife of two months, Lauren Pesce Sorrentino, gave an update to his fans, saying he is “doing great” despite the circumstances.

Mike originally pled guilty in January 2018 on a tax charge involving falsified records and $9 million in income. He was sentenced to eight months in prison, two years of probation, and 500 hours of community service, and he’ll also have to pay $133,000.
