McDonald’s Monopoly is back until 19 October. There is still lots of time to win big prizes in this year’s competition.

A money-minded TikToker who goes by “The Quid Squid” shares his personal finance tips online. He discussed his McDonald’s Monopoly hacks on his TikTok account, where he has almost 40k followers.

His video discussing the clever tips has had 215,000 views.

The Quid Squid, also known as Mathew Gay, explained how McDonald’s customers can triple the number of “peels” they get per meal.

Mathew explained: “You can boost your chances of winning by doing these simple things before McDonald’s Monopoly finished on the 19th of October.

“The first thing to note is not all items on the menu will give you stickers including the Saver’s Menu, so make sure you find out which ones will and which ones won’t.”

The menu items which come with Monopoly stickers are:

  • Chicken & Bacon Salad or Chicken Salad
  • Chicken Selects (3 or 5 Pieces)
  • McPlant
  • Big Tasty with or without Bacon
  • Any Big Flavour Wrap
  • Chicken Legend (Mayo, BBQ or Spicy)
  • Spicy Chicken McNuggets (6 or 9 Pieces) or Spicy Chicken McNuggets Sharebox
  • Medium or Large Carbonated Soft Drink
  • Any item from the McCafé Iced range
  • Medium or Large Fries
  • Mozzarella Dippers or Mozzarella Dippers Cheese Sharebox
  • Mars or Twix McFlurry
  • Any other Side (meaning a Side Salad, Veg Bag or Fruit Bag), when sold as part of a Medium or Large Meal, served after 11am
  • Any other Drink, when sold as part of a Medium or Large Meal, served after 11am

Mathew went on: “Now, you can literally double your chances of winning by scanning your properties into the McDonald’s app and they will give you and free digital peel.

“And then if you sign up to the McDonald’s reward scheme it will also give you a free peel.”

He added: “Remember, make sure you look out for the prize tickets.

“If you get these, these are rare, so make sure you hold on to them.”

  • Coventry Street
  • Strand
  • Marlborough Street
  • Northumberland Road
  • Old Kent Road
  • Euston Road

Mathew had one final sneaky trick. He said: “And finally don’t lose your stickers. A lot of people will leave them all over the place which is a great opportunity for you to go and pick them up for free.”

But, make sure people have definitely discarded their tickets before you come and sweep them up.
