Hillary Clinton is stabbed in the throat, while Senator Bernie Sanders gets his head set on fire.
Kathy Griffin says she was left hanging "by the right, left and center" in 2017 after that picture of her holding the President‘s decapitated head.
And she was not waiting with baited breath for anyone to rise up to defend her on Monday morning after she was depicted being murdered with an axe in a video shown at a pro-Trump conference at one of his resorts.
On Twitter #TrumpVideo, #KathyGriffin and #Kingsman were all trending high after The New York Times claimed a parody video, which shows Trump violently killing his political opponents and media organizations, was played at the event held by American Priority at Trump National Doral Miami.
The President’s son Donald Trump Jr. and his former spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders were among those scheduled to speak at the event.
The clip, taken from a scene from the 2014 Colin Firth spy comedy "Kingsman: The Secret Service", shows the superimposed Donald Trump carrying out a mass shooting at "Church of Fake News", executing dozens of people with news organization logos hiding their faces, including PBS, NPR, BBC News, Huff Post, Politico, The Washington Post, NBC, Vox, Yahoo News, Buzzfeed, CBS, ABC, Bloomberg, CNN, Slate, and The Hill.
Warning Graphic Content:
To the tune of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Free Bird, he begins shooting each of them in the head, including "Black Lives Matter".
Rosie O’Donnell gets stabbed in the skull, Senator John McCain is clubbed on the back of the neck, Rachel Maddow gets a bullet to the head, Barack Obama gets his neck broken, Hillary Clinton is stabbed in the throat, while Senator Bernie Sanders gets his hair set on fire.
Among the President’s few allies in the church are Harvey Weinstein, who can be seen choking Bill Clinton.
At the very end, Kathy Griffin is shown being almost decapitated with an axe — wielded by CNN rather than Trump — who then impales CNN before smugly surveying the massacre.
"Remember when @kathygriffin was entirely shunned for one picture? Surely those who attacked her are similarly outraged by this?" one of Kathy’s followers tweeted, to which she sarcastically replied, "Oh yes, countless cable political pundits will all be running to my defense," with an eye-rolling emoji.
"I get asked in interviews ‘what’s WAS(?) the hardest part of the photo scandal?’ Now this #TrumpVideo. I never broke the law, or violated the 1A. I’ll be watching to see if anyone has the balls this to advocate for me this time…publicly. Hello???"
Joking aside, Kathy also pointed out that not everyone would take the video as mere satire.
"Im depicted as being murdered by The President of the United States in this video. The left, right & center left me hanging out to dry regarding the Trump mask photo. Please don’t let it happen again," she added. "No, this video isn’t a joke to his followers. And it will not be taken as such."
White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham claimed Trump had not yet watched the clip, adding he would "see it shortly, but based upon everything he has heard, he strongly condemns this video."
The White House Correspondents’ Association meanwhile strongly condemned the video, which appears to have been made in July of 2018.
"The WHCA is horrified by a video reportedly shown over the weekend at a political conference organized by the President’s supporters at the Trump National Doral in Miami," it said in a statement. "All Americans should condemn this depiction of violence directed toward journalists and the President’s political opponents."
"We have previously told the President his rhetoric could incite violence. Now we call on him and everybody associated with this conference to denounce this video and affirm that violence has no place in our society."
Speaking on "The View", Meghan McCain had a jaded reaction to her father’s inclusion in the clip, pointing out "you can’t kill him again, but whatever".
"I don’t understand where we are culturally that entertainment is showing doctored videos of killing fellow members of congress and people you’re working with everyday," she said. "I am not someone who thinks we cannot have content and entertainment and talking about violence is important, but this is an entirely different thing when using pictures of actual people who are still alive.
"How easy for all of you judging me that I’m offended and upset by the video, you try doing this when a member of your family has continued to have this happen over and over and over again. And it doesn’t seem to matter to anybody in Trump world whatsoever."
She added: "And you conservatives on Twitter, if this were the opposite and happened at an Obama event, you’d be screaming bloody murder. So stop!"
